Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro. Anyone?

Giovanni,

I have the sigma 20-40mm f2.8 DG EX, very good, both ends and also has aperture ring. AND very short MOD. You can actually use it as "macro". its my "standard" wide lens with my adapter. We tested also sigma 15-30mm f3.5-4 , also good but slight light falloff in the TV safe areas.

I own the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro and I have used it extensively with the brevis. It's a cool very polivalent lens.

Sorry Giovanni, no follow focus.

I checked out your website. It must be dificult working under those conditions. I once had to film some pre historic caves for a kids` show and it freaked the heck out of me how deep and dark it was.

I'd recomend getting a 1.4 50mm in addition to help in low light situations...

Thanks but for the cave part we are shooting underwater. So we are going to use the original Canon lens + a wide angle in the housing.

Conditions will be quiet extreme anyway... the group of explorers is able to cover up to 7 miles underwater with dives lasting up to 13 hours.

So you can imagine how difficult can be shooting for this kind of projects!

Ciao and thank you for your help!
