Exporting screen shot in FCP from HD footage

My boss has a HPX 500 and would like to grab a screen shot to use for an Amaray cover in Photoshop. When he tries to export a jpeg in FCP, the aspect ratio is completely off and the image is distorted. Does anyone know what might be the right settings in FCP in order to export a decent still image?

I just open the still in photoshop and either increase the height to about 120%, or the decrease the width to about 90%. Don't know why that happens, but it does. If there is a workaround in FCP, I'm not aware of it.
 
DVCproHD saves data by using nonsquare pixels, the still image exporter doesn´t know this, so the exported still image must be stretched horizontaly in PS.
eg 1080i in PAL is recorded as 1440x1080, for playback it will be stretched to 1920x1080
