I'm shooting a movie in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara and I was wondering where the closest location where I can rent a lens adaptor is? Does anyone know?

It's that place called Los Angeles, unless Samys is still in Santa Barbara and they have one. But I doubt it.
I shot a pilot in Atascadero last year, nothing up there dude!

Well, I don't live up there but I used to work in Santa Barbara and I visit up there a lot. It's not exactly production central up on the central coast.
Even if there is still a Samys in Santa Barbara, I doubt that they would rent such an unusual item. Other than us geeks on this board, most people in the industry have never heard of a Brevis or M2 I find, especially guys and gals who work with the "real" stuff.
Another tip could be to contact Brooks in Santa Barbara, although I think their film and video program has moved down to Ventura. If anyone knew who might have something like that in the area, Brooks would be a good place to begin.
Good luck. Love it up there, but as far as production gear, it's the boonies.
