Do a voiceover, support breast cancer research

My school asked me to do a promotional video for their breast cancer campaign, which I'm just finishing up. The problem is that I'm having trouble finding someone to do the introductory voiceover. Can anyone here help me out? I'm sure somebody's got a good voice they can share.

The line:
"The month of October has become breast cancer awareness month, to support ongoing cancer research. The staff and students at Iroquois Ridge High School have taken this to heart, by putting forth a significant effort towards making a difference".

Should be ~13 seconds long.

If someone could record this and host it, it'd be a huge help.

Here's the initial edit of the video. Voiceover would go after the intro facts, and before the interview.

Oh lord, I'm not any of them. I had a hard time watching to 23 seconds.

I just searched a for a clip on youtube to find one that had the right pronunciation.

And do you also say Turquoise = tur- kwhy?

No, but then again, it is spelled differently.

Iroquois is the French word for a nation of native people...pronounced Eeh roh kwah.

Turquoise is a derivative of the French name for a stone they thought was Turkish in origin. I don't think it had an 'e' on the end orpginally....and I don't think they pronounce it the same way you might.

The 'e' does make one pronounce the 's'...in Iroquois, you don't.

To be fair, many people do pronounce it the way Matt was asking...he was just trying to clarify.

Updated with the video. What do you guys think of the credits? Too much? I wanted to make it interesting.

I already got one from a student, but a more professional sounding one would be greatly appreciated.

Uploading a file for you now.
I'll PM you with the link in a second when it's done.

I wasn't sure how you wanted it read - so I'm giving you a couple of reads...a couple serious and a couple more 'upbeat'

Luis, great stuff. I'm definitely going to use one of those. Some professional sounding narration should really add to this. Thanks for helping out with it; I'll put the final product up when it's finished.

Should I credit you as "Luis Caffesse"?

Hmmm
That's what I would have thought too - always heard "ear-ah-kwoy" growing up....
But I went with the pronunciation he asked for "ear-a-kwah"

Of course, if you watch the video - everyone says 'ear-ah-kwah'
(its the name of the high school)

So, you know what they say, when in Rome..... say ear-ah-kwah.

(isn't that how the old saying goes?)

Not sure - I grew up in Michigan and that's what I was used to hearing.
Until I moved down here that is...
Here in Texas they simply pronounce it "indians"

(kidding, kidding)
