Letus Extreme and Sony EX1 test short

Is there some more footage with a 35mm adapter available? Philip's footage was not backfocused correctly (because of the edge-to-edge problems) and had nothing near to 35mm projection. Which is okay, just not my thing. :) Someone?

Hi Maxim, what do you mean about nothing near to 35mm projection? Any edge to edge problems were nothing to do with the backfocus. They were from the very wide lenses, wide open which causes them to have softness around the edges. They need to be stopped down a bit. It was just too low light to do so.

I will posting two new shorts for my religion series shot with the ex1. One of them has more footage from the extreme/ ex1 combo

Philip:

How did to you do the tilt and shift look on the facial closeups? You alluded to a plug-in to do that?

the good old "wally dolly"!

Funny, until I googled it, I thought 'wally dolly' was another expression of yours that hadn't crossed the pond.

No, it is actually a real dolly.

€1,890. Wow. That seems pricey when compared to something like this. Also, I am surprised that you have that in your kit. Seems a bit cumbersome for the 'one man band' production style you have.

I am back to looking at the indiSlider which obviously has a shorter range, but it does seem like I may use it more than a whole kit with track.

Thanks for the feedback.

Indiislider is not great. I have one and am very disappointed in it.

The Wally Dolly is by far the quickest, lightest, simplest dolly I have ever used. It sets up in minutes, works on bumpy ground and is super smooth and all in a tripod sized bag.

It is so much better than the indisnap and much easier and quicker to use.
