Next level of upgrades for HVX 200

Kwan does have a good point, zoom lenses are great for many users. You get a wide variety of capabilities. I personally like my Zeiss primes because they're faster in all cases than the Nikon except that 25mm lens where it is equal. Some people like the versatility of zoom lenses while others like the more traditional style of primes. Choose based on what's in your price range.

In addition to Redrock micro and B&H, Zacuto also carries them. My Zeiss ZF prime kit actually came from the factory in Germany. Customs and everything!

As a student 'a few years ago' I had a chance to study with Ansel Adams and used the Zeiss lenses when shooting 4x5 still photography and loved the quality. Glad to know the quality is still appreciated.

Just received my Letus Extreme today at noon. Had a shoot at 2pm. Rushed to camera store and purchased a Nikon 50mm and 100mm. Shot horse and riders late afternoon as sun was just coming out. On the job learned to focus and set aperture. No follow focus and no HD monitor. Very difficult to focus. Love the look but need lots of practice and more tools to master focus.

Has anyone noticed a lack of sharpness with adapter and lenses?

All in all I believe I just jumped to the next level.
