The most footage I made since I have the HVX was under daylight conditions, and the rest inside was in somewhat bright rooms. Today I had to work in a room with less daylight and I was rather disappointed about the lowlight quality of the HVX.
I think my old Sony PD 150 was one or oneandahalve F-stops more sensitiv without any gain.
I there any adjustment to improve the lowlight quality?
Please, dont recommend artificial light, thats what I try to avoid
Thanks Benn

It was.

Yes, add light.

Can't fight the laws of physics. If you need better sensitivity, you'll have to give up something:
1) add light, which you don't want to do
2) go back to standard-def, which I'm presuming you don't want to do, or
3) shell out another $6700 to get a bigger-chip camera like the EX1

Of those options, adding a bit of light is the least expensive and easiest way to go. I mean, how hard is it to bounce a Lowel Tota into the ceiling to bring up the ambient light level?

Yes, Barry. I am afraid you are totally right. The wish was father of my thoughts.
