Hi all:

Just purchased a Sony MFM-HT75W as a field monitor for our HVX-200s.

It's a VERY impressive monitor, especially considering how cheap it was. I don't think that it is a super accurate picture but it looks very nice, if not accurate. I purchased a Delvecam PC-1 stand from www.markertek.com, it's basically a light stand that you can mount the monitor on to easily adjust the monitor's height and angle. The VESA mounting plate did not come with mounting screws, it said to consult the monitor manufacturer to ascertain the correct size mounting screw, threads and length. The Sony manual doesn't say which size to use.

Does anyone here with this monitor know which size, thread and length mounting screws to use to mount this monitor to the VESA mounting plate?

Best,

Dan

Hi arno:

Never found out. I went as far as taking the monitor to a hardware store and even they had no screws that were the right size, pitch and thread. I gave up and just use the monitor on a small plastic shipping case. Not as high as I would like it, but it works.

Good luck,

Dan

I have one of these too, and don't have it stand mounted either. It does look great though, and fits perfectly in a Pelican 1550 case.
