Where in Spain did MacGregor film Similo?

As I`m going to Catalan Pyrenees by the end of the year I wonder if maybe I can visit some of the sites where MacGregor shot the Similo`s antarctic scenes. I kind of remember that it was shot in Spain at least.

Naw it was just a DVX100 with the G35 adaptor, no andromeda. My god does it look fantastic though. An extremely well done production. ITs what got me into getting an adapator.

Before I went HVX it was going to be a DVX for me- this film almost made me go straight out and get one. When I saw that and other shorts at the time I knew I wanted to get one. But in the end I went with its big brother, the HVX.

An amazing piece.

Good solid camera holding techniques of the camera is the answer:

Breathing shallow. Getting your talent to hold still. I don't even think it is slow mo. IT just gives the impression of slow mo in the performances and the way the camera 'breathes' as opposed to moving.

He shot out on the highway so he's not tethered to anything like a laptop. I know you could but in other shots I've seen of him filming, there's no umbilical.

A great film...

Similo was a DVX100 using the beta Cinemek G35 adapter. Mac posted a behind-the-scenes shot that showed him shooting on a DVX100.
