Im currently running two 7600GT cards and thought now would be a great time to upgrade before the holiday deals run out.
When I first installed the cards, I did a test where I ran non-SLI and HD footage with color correction in Vegas. Then I turned on SLI and saw no difference in FPS. Maybe the SLI feature aids much more in rendering?
So my question is, would I benefit more from more memory on a lesser graphics card (say 2 512mb DDR3 8600GT) vs the power of 2 8600GTS with 256mb DDR3. Make sense? Also is one single faster card better than 2 lesser cards.
Heres some specs to consider:
How important is Core Clock, Memory (512mb vs 256), 256bit vs 128, Memory Mhz, and Memory Bandwidth?
Also are the superclocked versions worth it?
