what is the day rate for a 2nd AC (focus puller) ?

I'm looking for some crew and I was wondering if anyone knew what the day rate for a 2nd AC (focus puller). We will be working on the HVX 200 with the brevis 35.

comments and suggestions would be appreciated

Second, what type of project? feature film, commercial, spec, etc?

How many on the crew?

1st AC is generally a focus puller.

Like Ryan said - it all depends on the details of your project and where you are.
I can tell you here that 1st AC rates can go anywhere from $0/day to about $900/day or so.

All depends on the market, the project, the budget, shooting schedule, the experience of the AC... etc etc etc.
 
yea the 1st is the focus puller. average pay for normal private gig about 200$ a day.

Corporate, up to 600$, Union Film or TV narritive, 900$ a day.
 
You're probably looking at less than $300 / day. Also, it is definitely the 1st AC who will pull focus and zoom. 2nd will block with the DP, mark talent, assist the 1st in laying focus marks, slate the shot and record information for the shot.

Oh, and keep the truck clean. Really clean.
