iphone-and-lg-ke850 separated at birth?

Interesting!

Wonder what kinds of issues your friends are having with their iPhones...I'm utterly impressed with mine.

Yeah I've got two friends with iphones and both of them are still GIDDY with them... months later. I always grab the iphone around this one friend and play with it for a while as we're having a beer or whatever, but my other friends and family have Verizon so I won't switch... but I'd get one if Verizon had 'em.

my life has been bettered so much by the iphone , its impossible to imagine not having it. gladly paid OG price and would gladly pay it again along with cancellation fee , this fee , that fee dont matter, just money to live a better quality life

I am truly not trying to sound like a smartass...I am being sincere in asking you how a phone could greatly improve the quality of your life?

a perfect example is monday. ill see if i can quickly explain how its been used in my daily life to make it better.

my iphone alarm goes off.

i get up and im able to check my facebook messages, email from several accounts, weather and traffic so i know what to wear and to warn the people im picking up at the airport in a few minutes, i get info from southwest on their flight without having to be at a computer so i can brush my teeth hair and what not while in bathroom on iphone safari.

so i get to work and listen to tunes on my iphone i dont have to switch headphones or headpeices to answer the guy from LA whos letting my know more info, which is all good. next thing i check that the weather in burbank is totally fogged out and i get message from southwest the flight is cancelled. so i email the producer, (it was shoot i was doing cam assist on, more on that later) the 2 people who i was totally honored to be able to learn from who are the show are stuck in burbank til a later flight.

the finally arrive and i listen to more tunes now in the care on my way to the airport doing the round about. i finally see them, we load up and i ask where we going? he says a place, i says umm, well im not sure where that is but my iphone will, so i type into google maps app, no wifi btw, and before he can dig through his papers to find addy, i just search San Jose for the place we are going, few seconds its up, then i hit the arrow, and then hit, directions to here, then i type san jose airport, and in less than a minute , while my tunes are still playin mind you, i have directions to the place. this is the same device that i setup everything from.

so we get there and im able to snap pics and upload them to my facebook mobile uploads, and email to my partner who couldnt be there unfortunately. someone asks about the phone and checks it out and have a good conversation, making a new friend while there. While im doing this im not thinking how great it is to have this device, im just using it now and not even thinking about it, its only when someone says, like on monday when i popped the directions up , the guy says, you got it on your iphone already? im like yup. and he just says, ok cool. because its become a part of life now, its expected to be able to do those things, its not a neat gadget , its actually just bettered life, like all inventions that do that, the lightbulb, to the umbrella, once it has become available, it is a staple in life, that isnt a one time or random thing, it simply has integrated itself into life, seemlessly.

im happier because of it, i dont have to worry about so many things like emails , my music, which im very passionate about, my texts, websites, blogs, shopping, quick pictures, calanders, stocks, news, weather, calc,

i was at a show the other day, I was talking to someone about some video they wanted to do and i was like i do that kind of stuff, i recently did something....and in the middle of my sentence i was like, oh that video is here on my phone...so i pull it out, and i check...oh damn, must deleted it on accident (iphone asks to delete after first time play and i remembered i did and hadnt resynced yet) , BUT the vid was on youtube.com so i open up youtube app, search and boom, its there, hit it, wait like 10 seconds, it buffers and plays.

these are just accounts of life how its been improved, i can be in theatre on imbd and keep conversations going, trivia stuff, etc... life is just better with it.

whew, lol. i hope i dont sound too much like a fan boy, i am i know, im just kinda bored right now burning discs and waiting to go to my sisters for Pizza :)

(its my bday :) )

or instead of an iphone, one could just take ritalin.

I am waiting for the ability to run full blown windows on a portable device (i.e. a handheld laptop (palmtop - is that copyrighted? if not than I probably should).

The iphone sounds like a great phone but its a shame that only one network has it.

I basically can't understand how I used a mere Treo before this thing. I have everything in my <cheezy apple talk> *digital life* </cheezy apple talk> hooked up on this thing. I even have it hacked to control my main mac wirelessly (and even view my webcam on the thing).

Highly recommended.

...and wait til feburary when it gets opened up by apple themselves, thats when its going to explode with nerdiness.

<needs a full tilt app>

i have secured a few gigs by meeting someone, pulling out the phone and showing them my work. I also used it to land a couple gigs while i was camping, using email and craigslist while i had no actual internet access. Out here in SF, everbody has one and it isn't about the phone but what you can do with it.

Seriously Nic...you've actually made a damn good case. I appreciate the info...didn't realize how versatile it is.
