24p and Final Cut Express

Can I edit and capture 24p and 24pa footage from the DVX in Final Cut Express 3.5?

you can capture it, but you won't be able to remove the pulldown. you'll have to edit at 29.97.

Nope- if you want to cut in 24p you will need Final Cut Pro. FCE is strictly for standard 29.97 DV NTSC type editing. Time to step it up.

Nope. You can always cut at 60i but if you want native 23.98 editing you *cannot* do it in FCE.
