Master To Show At Film Festival

Im currently developing a B&W feature film that is aimed to be shown on the screen at different film festivals. I will probably use a HVX200E 25p with 1080i resolution for best results. (but it would be nice with variable framerates)

How do I get a master in uncompressed resolution? Can I use the outstanding NLE Sony Vegas for this? I guess I need to rent som kind of tape-deck to transfer the picture to something that could be shown digitally on the screen.
I don't know how the HVX will hold up standard 35mm on the screen, but hopefully It won't look too bad.


Would appreciate a lot of help on this subject.
 
Each and every festival will have its own submission / screening requirements. You may need an HDCAM master. You may need letterboxed DigiBeta. You may just need DV. You need to figure who needs what and which festivals you're looking at first. I just saw a screening done from a Blu-Ray DVD that looked pretty amazing.
