I just have to start a thread for The Return of the Living Dead

I know there are some people on here who haven't ever seen it. Effin love it.

This film gave us a soundtrack with The Cramps, 45 Grave, Tall Boys, The Damned and T.S.O.L.

... and check out Miguel A. Núñez Jr's lines (The black dude); the best

This film was from director Dan O Bannon. His second film since collabbing with John Carpenter on DARK STAR but after writing Alien.

This film features Scream Queen Linnea Quigley and awesome vet actors Clu Gulager, James Karen and Don Calfa.

Thom Matthews from Friday the 13th Part VI and John Philbin from The New Kids, North Shore and Point Break.

This film has the best lines and O'Bannon purposely had his actors over play the lines which leads to its fun

If you've never seen it; watch the links !

I love Return of the Living Dead. The only band missing from the soundtrack is The Misfits. You would think one of their songs about b-movies or zombies would make it in, but no. Maybe Dan O'Bannon just didn't know about them. That's my one and only gripe about the movie.

Send more paramedics!

Fun movie to watch, haven't got tired of it and I tend to watch it around 5 times a year.

I love The Misfits !

For what it's worth; they only had their first album in 1985 (When the film was released)

I would have loved to have The Dead Kennedy's on it.

It's alright, man, it happens. I'm a big Misfits fan. I actually used to post at the misfits central message board before DVXuser.

'85? They first broke up in '83, and didn't regroup until '95 (without Glenn Danzig).

The Misfits "regrouping" without Glenn Danzig has been sadly chipping away at their legend. What was once one of the best of the 80's hardcore outfits is now a commercial trademark. There is no Misfits without Danzig. "Static Age" and "Walk Among Us" are untouchable.

R.O.T.L.D. stands up there with the best of the horror/comedy classics. It's in my Halloween movie marathon lineup.

I knew you were all true junkies

I was really into T.S.O.L. at one point. And GBH; man, GBH was epic.

Nothing cooler than Punk Rock Horror

(Runs to write punk horror story)

I love Return of the Living Dead! It's an unbelievably fun flick that never gets old. I might have to watch it tonight.

"(moaning) Brains...Brains....." This movie freaked me out when I was a kid, gotta see it again!

Another great line from P.T.
"I'm gonna eat your brains and gain your knowledge."
