Pan Tilt system for jib. Motor size???

I just finished building my jib crane and I would like to put a pan tilt.

This is the design im going with.
Does anyone have any idea what the motors are? I found some gear head motors here. https://sdp-si.com/eStore/
I just dont know how much torque is needed and how much gear reduction is needed.

Maybe look around in some of the CNC forums for stepper motor kits.
THose guys should be able to help you out.

If you read on www.hbsboard.com you will find out that stepper motors isn't a good idea. I think you'll get a basic understanding of what you should use, if you read a little around.
