Which Monitor to get Dell or Apple

Looking at getting a new monitor or monitors

Anybody using the Dell 24" monitor or the Apple 23" monitor.
Dell is cheaper by a couple hun.
Is the Apple worth the difference?

I do own two 23" ACD (Apple Cinema Display) to monitor HD via HD link coming out of a Blackmagic HD pro card and it is definitely superb... every pixel.

but you have to explore yourself ...
If I recomended.. yes!

best wishes

I've got 2 Samsung SyncMaster 225BWs and I'm pretty unimpressed with them. I use the for my main computer monitors, and they have a VERY slim angle of view before the contrast gets all wonkey. I used a monitor calibrator, but still find that if I move my head a few inches up or down, I no longer get the same shades of grey. This makes me not trust the monitor for photo retouching, of course I never trust it for video previews either.

My buddy has a Dell 2405 (I think) and it has a much wide field of view.
