Best Low Cost Diva Ripoff? or alternative?

Unless we get any other unforeseen delays in shipping or whatever... Not all parts of it are a science unfortunately.

Yes, it looks like I'm going to go ahead and buy at least one for a big interview gig I believe I am going to get. So hurry up!;)

Matthew

Update on the CL-655P/PMD. I don't believe I ever showed pictures of it before or the CL-MPSA stand to lollipop adapter. Also the finished eggcrates that will work both on these models as well as our metal studio models. See below...

Get them to the US already ! Tired of "Hearing" about them. I'd like to buy and use them-

Those are your plastic versions right? CL-655P/PMD.?

Luis,

About November 4th is what I'm currently planning on for cutoff and what's not done gets left out till next time.

Matt,

Yes thats the plastic version. About 11 pounds.

Hey Richard, is there any light loss like with 20/40 eggcrates for Chimeras with your eggcrates?

Matthew

To my knowledge as the degree decreases so does the light loss and my own observations in tests are that it's the case, so yes there is some light loss with these. It's a sacrifice for better spill control on the sides. As you may know, to get barndoors big enough to really flag off the light, you couldn't really put them on the fixture very well. They'd be huge--so the eggcrates fulfill a very useful function in that regard.
