Hey everyone. I pretty much taught myself FCP, and have been using it for awhile now. Done short films, weddings, etc, and have had some people really like my work.
However, when I was teaching FCP to someone today, they brought up the multicam edit. I didn't even know about this!
Could someone explain to me how it works? Essentially from what I can understand you log the clips and tell it which camera angle it is, and then when you are in FCP you can play all the clips at once in a view window.
Is that the nuts and bolts of it? Is that essesntially what it's for?
Also, can you do this AFTER you have logged the footage?
Thanks guys, I'd really appreciate the help, feeling like a bit of a dolt, not sure if I have been doing things the hard way or not...........
