Happy Birthday.... to me!

I treated myself by purchasing a new G2 wireless kit, a 1K rifa-lite, and a 16x9 fisheye lens.

Can't wait to eat some MongoBBQ tonight, then maybe play some Halo.

Happy Birthday! That sounds like a nice list of gifts you got and I think you will especially like the G2 wireless -- it's a great value. I use the G2 also. Have a good one and enjoy the day!

Its a toss up whether you'll like the rifa or the g2 better. Both are great things for their price point. I used one for the first time 6 months ago and just laughed quietly to myself as it just pops open and everything locks in place. Pretty slick little setup.

I've been able to use the rifa at my work a number of times, and I just love the ease of use and quality of light it produces. I'm upgrading from a 7 year old samson wireless kit, so I'm sure that will be leaps and bounds better.

I'm actually most excited about the fisheye lens... I used to skate and I might have to brush up on a few tricks just to have someone shoot it with the fisheye.
