24p footage flickers in Motion application

The footage I shot with the DVX100a in 24p mode flickers when I import clips into Motion. How do I eliminate the flickering. It's noticeable when there's movement in the shot, such as when two people are shaking hands, the movement around the hands looks like an interlacing problem.

The steps I've been following....
1. capture footage into FCP
2. export the clip as a Quicktime
3. import the Quicktime clip into Motion

Appreciate advice on how to get rid of the flickering!

Thanks,
Jeff

I should clarify that what I'm seeing on the image appears to be more of an interlace issue. For instance, when there's movement in the shot, such as the handshake, when the hands move up and down, it looks like there's lines going through their hands. It only looks bad when I import footage shot in 24p mode. Bums me out because I shoot a lot of footage in 24p and would like to figure out how to eliminate the interlace lines from the shots when I import the footage into Motion.

you can capture righ tto final cut, right click on the footage in the timline, and chose "Send to motion" You dont need to make the file a quictkime clip from fcp
