Hi all,

There are a few things before I'm sold to the new Letus extreme. For all the footage I've seen so far, It is great. really sharp. And thank you all for the efford. But they are all still on prime lenses.

Can someone show me footage from a zoom lens with in the whole range of 28mm- 80mm . like zooming in and out from the 35mm zoom lens. and showing us that there is no vigenetting.

I have primes lenses, 50mm f1.4, 28mm f2, 85mm f1.8 , but I also have zoom lenses which I like to use 28- 80mm f2.8 . Sometimes I like to carry only one lens instead of 3 when I not shooting in a studio.

Yes prime lenses are better, but I like my zoom too. So please show us something from a zoom lens.

Yes Barry Green and so many people have tested the Letus extreme, saying that it is such a great engineering. I believe them. It looks like a solid piece of professional gear.I'm sure the Le brother have very high workmanship .

But can Letus also have a longer warranty length instead of the 90 days that they are now offering for the Letus Extreme, something like 1 year. $1200 is not alot but it gives a piece of mind. And soon they are asking for $1500. Most adapter around that price gives at least 1 year warranty. So I guess I'm not asking for alot, or am I?

I went and dug up my 28-85 zoom just to test this. Unfortunately, it's in Minolta mount! So, no, I can't test that for you.

Regarding the warranty issue, the only ones who can answer that are the Le brothers. You should write directly to them with your question.

I view it as what about the adapter could break, and how much would it cost to fix it?

Short of dropping it and shattering all the glass inside, which wouldn't be warranty anyway, what could happen to it that would cost megabucks to fix?

On that note, it never eve crossed my mind that the Letus FE I just bought even had a warranty!

I'll say this about Qyen, he supported my Letus Flip long after 90 days (and long after the FE came out), and upgraded me numerous times at little to no cost.

One year warranty it is for the Letus35 Extreme :-). The only way you can break this thing is to throw it around like a football :-). Updating website right now

Thanks

Hien

Thank you very much, I'm sold. the footage of the zoom was what I wanted to see. I'm happy. I'll be ordering one soon too. Well I guess it doen't hurt to ask for longer warranty. I think now everyone benefits from this...

Cheers

Like a car that you bought and it might be involve in a crash, well there is no warranty on that either. or the camera that you bought that you might drop or when you go swimming with it. These are obvious not inculded in warranties. But it is the unknow factor of the adapters like suddently the motor just died on you or the ring just fall lose. I rather send it back for servicing if it still has warranty .
