Is this shoulder support as good as the older one?

[Mark-P]

I wanted to purchase the following:

http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=DVRIGPRO

though I was informed that it was discontinued and the new version is:

http://www.varizoom.com/products/supports/vzDVMediaRig.html

Does anyone know how this new model compares to the older one?

Thanks.

[THoff]

It's not even from the same vendor, so it isn't "the new version".

The DVRigPro is still available directly from the manufacturer.

Who informed you the DVRig Pro was discontinued?

I think Danny needs to know if a vendor is spreading misinfornation.

Someone from evsonline.com indicated that it was no longer being carried. I will need to find out and report back.

Does anyone have an opinion between the 2 different models that I posted links for? They are selling them for the same price.

Thanks.

Right. EVS is no longer selling the DVRig. Check out the web site at www.dvtec.tv.

There is also a new US distributor.

Clarification.

The upgraded DvRigPro and the new DvRigPro HD are available for direct order
at www.dvtec.tv/store or from our US dealer AlanGordon.

EVS are not caryying our products and I regret they are using our brand name to promote the imitation...
