So are you *sure* you want to be a millionaire?

Ive heard that that happens a lot to lottery winners. People constantly asking for money and family members believing that you owe something to them. Its got to be a huge shock to your system all of sudden having 93M in your bank account.

This guy was a millionaire before he won the lottery.
And most of the horrible things that happened to him were not due to the winning of the lottery - though they may have been magnified by it.

So, yes, of course I feel for the guy.
He's had some terrible things happen in his life.
It also sounds like he did alot of things that you probably shouldn't be doing, whether you won the lotto or not.

But, in the end, yes - I would still want to be a millionaire.
Who wouldn't?

Sounds like he just can't handle the pressure. Me on the other hand, have no problem telling people to bugger off. And I'm broke. But, being the nice guy that I am, I'd be willing to take his burden for him.

he was already a millionaire AND he's playing the lottery?

maybe he shouldn't have been so greedy.

There was a syndicated article about this guy in today's paper. I've also seen him and several other miserable lottery winners on some channel...the show was about how lottery winners are always cursed.

It's a load of bull. Every single one of 'em was an idiot. A complete utter idiot. Spending 200k on a sound system for a media room....spending a quarter of a mil for 2 garden statues. Then theres the drugs. Complete morons. I have ZERO sympathy for them. Its not the money that bring about their bad luck. Its their stupidity.

Money doesn't change you. It just amplifies.

So, being a heckuva nice guy, I'll take my millions now, Prize Patrol. Thanks.

i guess there's some truth to that. Most people who play the lotto are idiots, wasting money on a 1 in a billion shot. So I guess it makes sense that they'd make a bunch of stupid decisions once they won the money.

I'd still want to win the lottery. I don't see how that would change me. It would just be easier to be a filmmaker, really. Here's 93 million bucks. Go make some movies... :) :) :)

Imagine these idiots in Hollywood... if they had problems with small-town bullshit, they'd probably wind up dead here...
