Hi
Im all new to this area but I am going to buy a good camera (Sony PMW-EX1 hopefully) with a 35mm adapter and I read that the ground glass rotator inside the adapters is there to minimize grain. Is this true?

I was wondering if anyone has tried shooting with the Letus35 or SGPro turned off? (The two options Im looking into at the moment).
Does it give the image a grainy effect and how does it look? Im interested cause I would propably have a lot of use for this effect
