If you would use a Countryman B3 and a B6 in the same interview would there be any noticeable difference in the audio between the two?

Thanks Oleg. I didn't think there would be but just wanted to be sure. Thanks again. -- Tom

Be aware that you can tune the response curve of the B3 and B6, if you set them up with different caps, they'll sound different.

they would sound differnt anyway as they mounted on 2 different individuals :-)
if you barry the mics under clothes use +4 db shelved caps and if you use over , flat would be just fine

by the way , b-6 is 2 wire mic and b-3 is 3 wire , if you use lectro tx the b-3 could be wire in 2 differnt way so may be phase reversed to the b-6
if you work with lectro 400series you have phase reverse inside the menu and if you work with normal mixer it must have phase reverse on one of its channels , if not and you have phase isues use reverse polarity cable

All good information -- thanks guys. I'm going to buy 2 Countryman lav's in the next day or two and I am trying to decide whether to get one of each (B3 and B6) or both the same. Could save a little money but in the long run I would rather just get the best choice now and be done with it. I running G2's and although I would love to have Lectro's it's just not in the budget for a long while.

OK, COS-11 it is then -- but only one. I just broke the budget! LOL! Thanks for the help and info, Oleg and THoff.
