Which Heinz Commercial Did You Vote For?

I liked Heinz round the world or whatever. High production value. My second favorite was Fry's best Friend and I also liked the angry guy squirting out the last of the ketchup while staring back at his friend. You can just see his eyes over the top of the bottle. It's really the only time that I laughed out loud in any of the commercials.

I loved The "thick" one, but I vote for the around the world one.

Some of them I wonder, how did they get up there?

heinz group therapy was a funny idea but the cinematography failed. same with the friend squeezing out all the ketchup.

Heinz round the world was disgustingly high budget. Why would people who have those resources enter a ketchup commercial contest? Don't they have more highbrow competitions to enter?

Overall I was hoping for more raunchy entries.

From a quick glance at the comments on heinz round the world it was all shot here in southern california on a hvx200 in the guy's off time.
He did say he spent half a month's salary on it though. No idea what he does full time or how much he makes.

Can someone link me to the around the world one? Not trying to look through 4000 of them, and the search came up with no help.

No wonder. It's "World Wide" not "around the world" How did most of you get that wrong?

Anyhow, yeah that was extremely well made.

Agreed, agreed, agreed. I'll be the first to admit I'm one of the least motivated posters on this board, so I'm not coming from the same mindset as those who entered the competition. I just cannot understand putting this much time, energy and money into a spec spot. Fame, bragging rights, yes OK. But what's 55K gonna be after taxes and paying your talent & crew? (referring to this Around the World spot specifically)
If someone is this talented, shouldn't their schedule be packed to the gills with paying clients? Whether this spot was shot in So Cal or around the world, either way it doesn't make sense to me.

End of rant. I like the Ketchup Queen spot. Simple and remotely funny.

PS-Who the *&^% is putting Heinz ketchup on lamb Vindaloo??????

Putting two cute little kids in the commercial seems like cheating to me. I thought it was good, but I penalized them for using kids. The VO really helped too. Well done. Amazingly, it was probably the easiest production of all the entries.
