Should translator(s) be mentioned in the title page?

Hi all, and sorry if this has been answered a hundred times before. I tried searching quite a few sites, but didn't happen to find an answer.

I recently got a nice translation assignment - a whole movie script from Finnish to English. The job is great fun, but I'm not very familiar with movie scripts and their formatting (i.e. this is my first one). My question is, should translators be mentioned in the Title page of the script? And if so, where?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this went to a wrong forum (I'm new to this site as well).

I don't think so

The translator is mentioned in the closing credits.

I have two screenplays translated into foreign languages (Latvian and Georgian), and the translator is not listed on the title page.

Title page should be story by and / or written by

OK. Thanks a lot for the answer :)

(the reason I guessed otherwise is because the translators are doing a lot more writing work in this project than for example co-writers or other people mentioned in the front page) :)

If you are really invlolved in structuring the story via the transaltion, then maybe so.

Up to the who-ever really owns the story rights I guess. And, some co-writers don't contribute much if anything , but still grab the writing credits.

Your call.
