will the century .6 X work with the vocas mb 250 ?

Century/Vocas DV W/A kit? you need a kit to make the adapter fit with the matte box? I wasn't able to find a 'kit' on the Century website.
Is there something seperate from the adapter needed to make it fit with the Vocas Matte box?
Sorry, if Im asking a stupid question, but I got confused.

Also, does anyone know if the model made for the DVX (0VS-06WA-DVX) will also fit with the HVX? I see they have a seperate model number for the HVX (0HD-06WA-HVX)
 
No you dont need anything special to fit the .6x

The mattebox he is talking about comes in the century kit like the 0VS-06WA-DVX. I own the 0HD-06WA-HVX. I am pretty sure the DVX and HVX versions are the same. I would call or contact century to ask. If you cant get a hold of them, try B&H.
 
B&H tells me "the DVX works on the DVX, the HVX works on the HVX."

Century/Schneider put me through to leave a message and said they'd call back, so I still have my fingers crossed for the definative word.

I have no reason not to believe B&H, its just I can get the DVX one used and thus a lot cheaper, so I'll keep hoping.

For what its worth, the optical specs are different on the website...which doesn't bode well for my predicament.

I get any difinative word, I'll update.

Unfortunately, none of the local (Phoenix) rental houses carry one either.
 
The glass may be the same, but the mount is not the same. You cannot put the HVX lens on the DVX, nor can you put the DVX lens on the HVX.

You could pay Century to remove the lens mount and swap it with the other lens mount though.
