Lens Cap VS. Porta Brace Lens Cover?

If you had to purchase a new one, would you go with the $45 Pani lens cap or a lens cover like this:

I'm not schooled as to how that portabrace cover works - does the whole thing stay on all the time and you just flip up the flap in the front? If so I'd go with that. I'm always misplacing my cap in my pocket or bag or wherever I set it... Havent lost it yet, but now that I've seen this I think I may need to...

Just use a shower cap, they work great.
I usually get them for free from hotels.
