Uploading to You Tube

I have been recording clips less than 5 minutes, DVC PRO50, converting to QT and now I am trying to upload on to you tube.They have a 100m cap on the file size. All of my clips are WAY to big. Is there any way to get these vids up on you tube?

Do you mean other than the obvious? (Compressing your files enough to meet the minimum)

Use QT's H.264, it is amazing.

I downloaded the free codec for the h 264...what do i do now? sorry new to the whole compressing file relm...

I amusing AVID and sending it as a QT mov...I have sorenson squeeze and have tried to compress it but it doesnt load...maby I am doing somthing wrong, I just got the software.

You can upload a .mov and similiar other files right to YouTube and Myspace WITHOUT compressing it ONLY IF ITS IT UNDER 100MB....something to keep in mind for the next project!

I export as 12fps which is what YouTube displays. It doesn't affect quality and does wonders for reducing file size!

YouTube accepts .avi, .wmv, .mpg, .mov
File size limit is 100 MB
Time limit is 10 min
