sweet - good audio can make such a difference. I've got the NTG-1 and love it, especially for the price.

If you mic close to the sound source and not on the camera - you will definitely notice alot. The sound is just so much cleaner and directional. And with the source of the sound mic'd off camera it actually sounds like the person is really right there instead in some tin can miles away.

Nice. I am actually hunting through boxes this very moment, trying to find mine. Packed it during a move and now it has wandered off.

I've used it outdoors, cam mounted, and got great results. Bought it at Long & McQuade on Bloor.
