HVX200 + Brevis35 DOF and Mattebox weight?

I just ordered an HVX200 and the Brevis35 DOF adapter AND the Cinevate Mattebox. I need to buy a tripod as well, but i'm just barely breaking the bank here. So my question is how much will all of that weigh? I ordered from the (very nice) Shawn Tallard at Full Compass, and I asked him what tripod I could go with while keeping me under my budget. He recommended the 501HDV Pro kit, but he wasn't sure how much all of the other accessories weighed ontop of that. Will the 501HDV Pro Video Head and Tripod be enough to support all of the above-mentioned equipment?

I saw this on amazon:

Tiffen Davis & Sanford ProVista 7518 Tripod and Head, 75 Video Tripod With FM-18 Fluid Head.

for a mere $199. Is it just crap? I'm sure you get what you pay for, but still... Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
A lot of people including myself believe that the 503 bogen is the minimum for the HVX. With more stuff on top, you would want a bigger head. the 501 will do it but it not that great. I would stay away from the davis and sanford.
 
i have it. If all u can afford is this or not have a tripod at all i would say get it. Otherwise save your money and get a real tripod.
