Are you trying it with the hack and mounted to something?
If so try flipping the other switch inside and then remounting and then openning and closing again.
BTW Timur, I am sure the Q-Tip thing was on the tablet with the other 5 commandments

just got a canon FD f1.8 50 mm off ebay... did the q-tip thing, now it seems my aperture only opens from 22 to 11/16 split and then it stops, I can turn the ring, but it doesnt open up anymore 
am I doing something wrong here????? got the lens cap at the back
I guess I got a faulty one here, it sure looks like it is in great condition
