The Little Search Engine That Could

Ha! :) Thanks, Mikko.

I know you were joking about monitoring searches, but it brings up a good point. For the record; Isara can't monitor your searches and, even if we could, we wouldn't. That's the great thing about a non-profit alternative, you can trust us because we're not trying to gather information about you, unknowingly, for our own benefit. And it will always be that way.

For those who use Google (myself included). Be careful. They're watching every move we make.

I have no problems when businesses ask me to fill out a questionnaire about my eating habits or shopping habits. (That's me voluntarily helping them gather data.) But if they secretly monitor me while I'm eating and shopping, that's completely different. And no matter where you go on the Internet, Google is watching you. Even here. (DVXuser connects to Google Analytics each time you visit. Gathering more data for your Google profile.) Smile. You're on Google Camera.

If you use Firefox and want to customize the Google cookie so it's unable to keep an accurate profile on you, visit these sites.

pk .... used the new Isara search to find those websites. :)

Just a quick update: More than 1,000 DVXuser websites have been crawled by our servers and they will be included in the next index update (sometime this week).

Also, we have now made it MUCH easier for visitors to Isara to use any search engine they'd like.... even Google image searches. Check it out and let me know if there are any other search engines we should add.
