Hey,
I shot a feature film on the Panasonic DVX100 (original) in 24p Advanced. I am working with Final Cut Pro 5.1 I am editing 23.98 frames per second and using the preset to have the pulldown removed as most users use. My problem is the video looks fine and "normal" in the viewer but when dragged to the canvas or timeline it looks all distorted and messed up.
Question: If I shot this in Letterbox mode which I did should the anamorphic box be checked or not because peopel have been telling me different things.
How do I fix or remedy this problem. My video has a big thick window box boarder around. Very messed up! I shot this feature with the idea of completing it. Can anyone suggest anything?
