Have you heard of celtx???

Never heard of it until this post, but I just went to their site, downloaded the software, uploaded one of my scripts and started playing with it... wow! Seems very powerful. Too soon to give it my full recommendation but I'm pretty damned impressed with all the features. The tell-all for me will be how easy it is to collaborate. I uploaded my script to their server and I'm waiting for my writing partner to create an account as well. Once he does, we'll test its limits.

Thanks for the find! I'll report back with any additional comments I may have.

I usually write with Scriptware, but after a few minutes' playing with celtx, I'm also favorably impressed.

yeah, there have been other threads about celtx. It's a great little tool, and I use it now for everything I write.

I haven't downloaded a version in a while, but I found the collaboration to be basically useless because there is no versioning. The only way it would be really useful is if you and your partner could work on an note the same script and celtx would handle merging changes, etc.

But I hope they are planning to add this.

I just downloaded the new one a few days ago. The storyboard is new. It works really good and for free who can complain!

I love Celtx... been using it for a while now... all my scripts are written with this... Yes, the new storyboard app is great...

I think there were issues with the way it printed pages and breaks, been a while since I used it. Maybe it was page numbering? Who knows.
