Help Us Name Our New Production Company

Ok, we're two more guys cranking up a little production shop in a storefront here in the Los Angeles basin. Now we need to settle on a name, if only so we can animate a cool little bumper to stick at the front of the crap we shoot. We've culled a group of potential names that have come from 1) suggestions by friends; 2) narcotic-induced "eureka" moments; 3) PMs from DVXUsers; and 4) random net searches.

Please help us by saying whether any of these rise to the level of "well, that's not TOO crappy" when you imagine them on a filthy cap or t-shirt. We need a name before we go under and can begin complaining bitterly about what might have been, had Jack Daniel Stanley only given us that big break on the East Coast.

Here's the names. We've arbitrarily stuck "Films" or "Productions" or "Pictures" behind them just to mix it up. THANKS for your input. We will mention you at the Oscars of our minds the next time we drop Peyote.

for names, i have a proven formula that works every time. being as people love humor and sex appeal, i like to take something absurd and combine it with something sexy.

for instance...
fabio + victoria's secret = fabio's secret.

Mark, I don't know, none really hit me. I reckon Black Box would already be taken (what database is there to check?). City Spark and Bad Dreams sound ok.

Here's a couple suggestions: Little City Pictures, Fish Films.
 
Xanthic Films aka OCS 2 H for all those chem. buffs. LOL

But seriously Hard Rode Pictures sound about the coolest to me.

Or how about "Dic-N-Ya Pictures". Just think about it.

Really appreciate the feedback guys.

Black Box is one of my favorites. There's a few companies in other areas using it but no film or video production shops I can find so far. In our area (L.A. there's a blackbox sportswear and a Black Box theater. Given our ridiculously low profile and current gameplan we would be willing to use a name we think suitable as long as it isn't obviously taken in our region by a production house.
 
darkanglefilms is avilable to register for .com unlike blackboxfilms and blackboxproductions which is already taken. I wouldn't pick a name unless you can get the .com for the name.

Black Box is probably beaten to death... I was going to use it for my own production company until I realized that the guys that I work with had it before me... the guys that I work with locally (on national stuff like commercials or History/Discovery/Travel channel) had a company named "House of Motion" Photography... and somehow they lost the domain... but anyway... they were Black Box before that... and I liked it so much that I thought I'd try to use Black Box somehow.

There are probably a thousand Black Box production companies. I don't know if I'd let that stop you on that one... but don't be surprised when somebody else is using it also.

Type in rutherford and blackbox in google... you'll see my buddy Dave's company in the first three returns.
 
how about you make something first then name it based on what you made...

Black Box does sound cool. None of the others jump out at me.
