Let me know what you think:

I have had no formal education in video, design, or motion graphics so any pointers would be appreciated.

I always wonder where I should post these. I want to use after effects, but due to limitations I am still on the a mac mini using FCP. I can't even use motion with this computer yet. Oh, and this was extremely time consuming since I could not access the .psd layers unless I exported each one seperately as .tiff files using gimp. Lastly, this was made primarily for my portfolio not a real tv promo.

I think it looks good man. Funny animations too. I think the brownish shapes on the final screen look a bit weird though, but that might just be the style you're after.

How well does editing work on a Mac mini? Ever tried editing HDV on it? I really want to start using FCP, but I'm still PC bound.

I like it. I like the part where the mountain drops down as the little bike is jumping it.

I didn't really question the brownish shapes until they were brought to my attention. I think they look ok.

By the "brownish shapes" do you mean the black, yellow, and pale looking jagged thingy maggigies? They don't look all that brown to me... I hope my monitor is not really off on colors.

Editing DV on a mac mini core solo has been a breeze. I have not done any hdv or hd material yet. I plan on upgrading my computer before my camera though. Thanks for the input.
