Ikan V8000HD: replacement batteries

Hi,
did anyone had a hard time finding replament "L" batteries that works with the Ikan V8000HD LCD monitor?
My "genuine" Sony Infolithium L batteries works well with the monitor, but all my replacement batteries (2 different models: from global-batteries.com, and from Ebay) doesn't even power up the monitor ...but they all work fine with my Sony Camcorder!
The first model I bought (from globalbatteries) look a bit different from the genuine Sony (but still works with camera), and the second one looks exactly the same...but still doesn't work with the monitor...
Somebody knows where to find replacement L batteries that would work??
(I didn't get any response from Ikan customer support...)

The battery that came with my Ikan 8000HD has never worked, tried to get a new one, but getting a response from Ikan is about impossible. I'm very frustrated with them.
 
everytime i called ikan i was able to speak to somebody almost immediately.

any l-series sony battery should work. the one i have is the L Series NP-F570. i had some issues but that wasn't one of them thank goodness.
 
I got an F-970 replacement battery from Amazon.com for 29 bucks, works great and powers it for atleast 3 hours.
