VH1's "The Rock Life" shot on DVX100b's Premieres tonight

A new series that I was the DP on premieres tonight on VH1 at 10:30 and 11:00. They are airing the first 2 episodes back to back. If you go to this link you can watch the first epsiode online:

I shot the MTV show Jamie Kennedy's Blowin Up last year. This show is for the same production company Hoosick Falls. We spent most of our time on the road or in and around Malibu with the band Whitestarr. It was a fun show to shoot and the series is really good. I also produced, shot, edited and wrote all the VSPOTs that will compliment the episodes each week. The dvx100b's performed great and we were able to move quickly from shot to shot with the camera and the image we were able to get out of them was great. A lot of low light shooting in following a band like this. . .

It was a fun show to shoot. we were all over. The band was really cool. The eps get better as we go along. They are out on tour with ZZ TOP and then Alice Cooper later in the year. Catch their show if you can. Fun live show.
