Canon user thread - post your pictures here

Thanks Safety. I took the pic when we were shooting a music video.

Another one:

Here are some pics of wildlife from my recent honeymoon in Acapulco. Shot with pentax k lenses. They probably need more contrast for the web but here it is anyway.

Rick, nice dinner you got there. Makes me hungry.^^

Like I said, I took the photo when we were shooting a music video. Thus she´s smilling at the cam. :)

I made an extra thread for some photos of the shooting... it´s still on page 1 if you want to take a look.

Yeah, technically speaking there is absolutely nothing special about those photos but Damn that was a great juicy steak. 1 inch thick, 1 pound of NY Strip Angus Beef. Holy moly. In fact, the picture sucks in comparison to the real thing.

PT...I will take a look at your extra pic in a bit...in a training at work right now...kill me....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes. I really like these head-shots....you have some very nice different looks. And, as PT said, I dig the framing...she is a very interesting looking lady...in a very good way...

PT...I'd love to offer some input on your car-in-building shot but its a variances in the picture are a little subtle for my laptop. I've found that compared to my Desktop (which I haven't had a chance to get to in days) it sucks for color correcting or analyzing the fine details of a shot...but, the framing is much better in the 2nd crop. And, I totally love the grit of the building from what I can see....

You are in the wrong thread for this comment but thanks for trying to give an input.:D

You still have to take a look at the "music video" thread from me.

Btw: Did you survive your training at work? :D

that's really good. i feel a lot of movement in that photo from the tilt, and the green works really well. did you do much in post?

I like that shot a lot. LOVE the environment...you are in Germany right? LOVE the streets...thats not cobblestone is it? If not what is it?The angle really brings a lot of tension into the shot.

Man I need to get to Europe...

Same thing, I really like the "post" colorings you do. Very neat. Even the cobblestones look wild.

Haven't been able to achieve those looks yet, but I will!

Thank you guys.

Yes, these are streets of Germany. Yes, that is cooblestone.
I actually don´t like those streets since they are quite bumpy. But when it rains they get very slippery and that´s cool. :D

Ill bet that after it rains when those cobblestone streets reflect the neon signs of some businesses that looks pretty awesome and would make a great shot.

In Woodstock, (about 15 min from where I live) There is a corner store with all sorts of bright lights...neon, Christmas lights on it year round, etc...One night, while walking back to my car after watching a play...it had just rained, it was very late and everything else was very dark and closed...the reflection off of the wet road...stunning. It was SO stunning and I wanted to kick myself because I had no camera with me. I keep meaning to go back there some night after a drizzle to get that shot.

Rick
