Someone wants to sell me this for a low price- would it be able to edit Final cut videos?

Specs of iBook:
Machine Name: iBook G4
Machine Model: Powerbook6,5
CPU Type: PowerPC G4
CPU Speed: 1.2 GHz
Memory: 256 MB
Optical Drive: DVD/CD-RW (Combo Drive)
Hard Drive: 30GB (Built-In); 40GB (External)
Operating System: Mac OSX 10.4.10 (Tiger)

With that little RAM? Not so much. The processor isn't great, but I used to edit in FCP on an even slower machine, so there you go. Of course, you probably won't even be able to install Motion on it.

And how cheap is cheap? First gen Intel MacBooks are fairly cheap already.

you'll definitely need to upgrade the ram and hard drive. how much are you paying?

older ram is more expensive than newer DDR2 ram btw. so upgrading the ram and HDD to current specs is going to drive the price up quickly. this is a NOT recommended from me.

Ive seen the Intel Macbook's as low as 650 before. 1st gen, but up to snuff

no. upgrading laptops is unreasonably expensive and laptops often die due to worn out hardware. I would never buy a used laptop. it's a waste of money

How many persons are using the PC and how many persons in here are using the Mac computer?

To me a 2G computer means I have to purchase a PC.
