I am sure you can prop the ladder on something to achieve the desired height. At least thats what I would do.

One could use saw horses (or other ladders) to raise the ladder's height.

The dolly is 380 euro. As John said, you can put the ladder one some saw horses or you put the one side on a wall or something and the other on a tripod.
