What are some good wireless mics to use with the hvx200 ?

The best bet in the $500 price range is the Sennheiser ew100s. The stock mic is not great, but it does get the job done. I'm not a sound person - but sound guys may disagree. If you can afford more, Lectrosonics are the way to go.

wireless lav mic or wireless handheld? the g2 systems are great for the price and you could even get their wireless handheld as well, although I dont know much about it. The electrovoice 50 (there's more the model that I'm forgetting but a search will clear it up) gets great reviews as a handheld mic in loud situations.

I second the above

Hahaha I Just Dont Want To Hand An Artist A Mic That Is 2 Ft Tall Or A Pink Fluffy Mic ... Just Looking For Something That Looks Professional

And Im Looking For A Wireless Handheld ... Where I Can Plug A Receiver Into The Camera, So I Can Just Hand My Subjects The Mic, No Mess

you can get a mic adapter with the sennheiser ew100 g2 system for 100 more ($600) you can then stick an evre50 on top of that and voila!
You want to do interviews right?

You need to get the EW500 plug on if your mic requires phantom power - the EW100 plug on does not provide phantom.

There are G2 versions with a hand-held, but given the quality of the lav they ship with the G2's, I would imagine that the hand-held isn't very good.

Has anyone ever posted wired vs wireless comparisons?

...I'm cursious to know what gets lost in the audio quality when going UHF wireless.

i.e. S/N ratio, Frequency range, Mid-range seperation, etc...
