This sucks. I'm in NYC wanting to shoot something next weekend and all I really need is a dolly. I don't want to make one because I don't have time, so I decided to try to rent one.
Everywhere I go insurance (double the cost of the $100 to rent for a day) or a deposit is needed. The deposit thing is fine but I can't find anyone in NYC that does that, only in Chicago.
Any have any suggestions?
If you live in NYC and have a dolly I would be willing to pay to rent from you. Any takers?
