Hello all,
I'd appreciate your advice on this thing I'm going to do...
I'll be doing two projects on my HVX shot on 720p 25pn.
We will be using a hard disk with the MXF files dumped, copy them to fiber optic raid storage connected to a MAC Pro which has Final Cut Studio 2 and an AJA KONA 3x card which among other things will be connected to a digibeta deck.
As for connectivity and setting up FCP (Easy setups etc.) I've figured out the procedure...
The thing is, we want the digibeta deck to capture the individual clips (MXF's) one by one. How do you recommend to do it?
Since I haven't done it before, I was thinking of putting all the clips in the timeline with a small gap between them. Is it the best way? And how do I set the digibeta deck to record from the timeline?
I'm reading the manual of the Kona Card, but any suggestions are welcomed since there isn't much time available.
Thank you in advance...
