M mario2 Member Jul 18, 2007 #6 I go to Panasonic P2. Then the hard drive. Then I click on a clip. Then content. Inside you find: Audio, Clip, Icon, Proxy, Video, and Voice. Click on Video. They are .mxf files. Thanks for your help.

NoahK Hottie Mod Jul 18, 2007 #7 Ok those are Panasonic HVX200 DVCPROHD files. On FCP 5.1 it's File>Import>Panasonic P2. On FCP 6, it's File>Log and Transfer. Then point to each folder with the contents and lastclip.txt file. Noah

M mario2 Member Jul 18, 2007 #9 Which setting should I chose under Audio/Video Settings. What should I chose in sequence preset and capture preset? I need to know if it's pal or ntsc. We shot in another country. Also I've done a little bit of the editing already in the preset HDV 1080i50. Can I convert them? Do I need to start over?
