Hello,
We are investing in a green screen. We previously worked with a light ring but it had it's limitations.
What matterial would you recommend? What is the most durable, washable, easy to use green screen you have come across with? Unfortunatly paint is not an option here.
Thanks for all your help :)

I'd get a foam greenscreen as it's wrinkle free, light and can be stretched onto frames. Film tools sells this stuff pre-made, and also by the yard--

However, I bought this because it was large and cheap. I needed to steam out the wrinkles but once I did it keyed great.

Here's a keyed shot I pulled from it using HDV--

Film tools sells a ton of green screen stuff at affordable prices so I'd search around there as I'm sure they'll have what you're looking for.

if you want to do chroma keying you really need a proper green or blue screen. They are HARD green and HARD blue with no tint what so ever. any tint and you'll have a hell of a time trying to key it out. Your best bet is to get one of those collapsible ones or find a local studio that has one you can rent. Trust me, get the real stuff. trying to key out almost-green is a nightmare!
