that dog is so awesome i cant belive it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the other story on that page: "'I love my mixed race baby - but why does she feel so alien?'"

While I can imagine HOW you might develop musculature like that, I can't fathom WHY you would.

A) my ego demands it?
B) i wonder what cardiac arrest is like?
C) i need an excuse to kill my whole family?
D) i like seeing blank expressions?
E) fill in the blank_________?

your guess is as good as mine David.

Can't believe someone on that webpage said they hope she could bread - yeah breed a genetic defect that ...
  1. ... prohibits the dog from following the marathon runner instincts / needs of its breed
  2. causes increased muscle cramps, i.e. pain.
  3. causes early death ...
... so you can have a conversation piece. Nice. Got no problem with raising and caring for a dog like this and giving it the best life you can, but to intentionally make more with the same birth defect is a crappy thing to do. Besides we already have enough dogs with respiratory, tear duct, heart problems, and more which were bread for our vanity. Notice you don't see these defects much in dogs that were bred for some need, i.e., herding, hunting, but it's rampant in the ones that look cute and act goofy. (there are exceptions like beagles which can have epilepsy and German shepherds which can be prone to intense flatulence)

Stupid humans. I pity the fool. :costumed-smiley-047

Junkyard?...... jesus jack. did it eat bernie and youre waiting three days to get him back?

Hahah.

No that was the name the neighborhood in bedstuy gave him.

He is ten years old and going through lots of changes for the sake of air conditioning, vet care, hygene, nutrition, and a soft place to sleep, so partially to keep the changes to a minimum, and partially because we kind of see the name as an earned battle scar to be proud of, we kept it. But we say it with the same inflection as "Fluffy" or something.

That song is awesome. We had been using the theme to Sanford and Son but that is much better.

Tommy, the credit goes to my girlfriend Megan. She's the one that's responsible and passionate enough to commit to caring for these guys and the small inconveniences they cause are nothing compared to what she puts up so I can keep making films. She takes them out for a half hour to 2 hours every day and gives them the regular schedule they need. She's out of town right now so that means Junkyard and Bernie get to do things like eat hot dogs and go on a surprise 5 AM walk to the post office to return netflix videos in the hope that they might get there in time to get new movies on Saturday, lol.

Sorry to jack Terry's thread ... back to the funny looking / cool dog now :)
